ARKAS AEGEAN LINK REGATTA

We will set off with the wind and waves in the blue waters of the Aegean for the Arkas Aegean Link Regatta, organized in collaboration with EAYK (Aegean Open Sea Yacht Club), Cesme Marina and Arkas with the support of the Turkish Sailing Federation and municipalities of Cesme.

Along our 4-day route, we will breathe in Cesme’s energy and then carry the warmth of the friendly competition into the cool waters of the Aegean.

While 39 boats participated in the Regatta in 2023, more boats are expected to participate this year.

SETTING SAIL WITH JOY ON THE FIRST DAY

Cesme has become a top holiday and entertainment spot in recent years. With gorgeous golden beaches from Ilica to Alacati, Altinkum to Aya Yorgi, along with the stunning turquoise blue sea, world-renowned entertainment venues, and marinas, it is a must-visit destination. Cesme is also the starting point of a very exciting race!

OVERALL & IRC Cup

A design workshop was organized at Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Fine Arts for the trophies that will be presented to the winners of the Arkas Aegean Link Regatta in the overall and other classes.

Under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dokuz Eylul University and faculty members, 60 students from the Faculties of Fine Arts, Art and Design of Yasar University, Izmir University of Economics and Dokuz Eylul University participated in the workshop where they let their creativity flow.

CESME MARINA

Opened in the summer of 2010, Cesme Marina received 4 important maritime awards, including the 2014 “Jack Nichol – Outstanding Design Award” by the World Maritime Transportation PIANC, the “Dialogue for Urban Quality – Mixed Use Award” by ARKIPARC, the “Golden Anchor Award”, which is considered the Oscar of the maritime sector in the field of Marina Management, and the “Tourism Investor of the Year” by Izmir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.
